I had the BEST run today! I was dreading it a little bit for some reason... worried about getting too bored or tired. The weather didn't look like it was going to warm up too much so I decided to sleep in. I took my time waking up this morning and made a new playlist on my Apple shuffle.
I headed out around 11:30, and I could immediately tell how AMAZING my new shoes felt. I truly felt like a whole new runner. I had no idea how beat up my last pair was until I started my long run in my new pair. My feet didn't hurt when running the hills like they had so much on Sunday. And the music really kept me entertained. Thank you Asics and Apple for sponsoring today's run! ;)
I'm getting excited to see that my speed is starting to improve... not sure where this is coming from, but I love it! Today I kept a strong pace despite MANY hills. I'm really hoping I can do well next weekend at the Blue Ridge Half-Marathon. Sooooooo excited about this race!
