If you've been reading this blog long enough, you've probably seen me use the phrase GYRO more than once. GYRO is a term my friend Sarah coined, and it stands for Get Your Run On. Sarah loves motivating all runners, but especially those who are just starting their running journey. I owe a lot to her -- she was there for a lot of my first long runs, and she constantly encourages me! The past few weeks GYRO Virginia has started meeting and running regularly, and it's exciting to see the interest.
I haven't been able to run the past few days because of crazy summer school, but tonight I was so excited to get outside and get my run on! Tonight I ran GYRO with two friends from church, and the weather was great (love the cooler temps)!
Something else that was great about the run was my new CEP Compression Sleeves. Last week I received some free compression sleeves AND socks from the wonderful people at CEP Compression! I am so excited about their products, and I'll be doing a full review sometime in the next week so stay tuned! In the meantime, get out there and Get Your Run On!!!! :)
