Timing is Everything

Yesterday I had a great run on the treadmill.  I've realized that it works best for me to set my pace, and then switch the view over to time.  I then tell myself to run for time rather than distance (even though it's really the same thing!).  I didn't have much time yesterday so I only ran 3 miles, but it felt GREAT!  I think I'm getting back into the swing of things!

We got 3-4 inches of snow this morning, and it's still going strong.  I know this will continue to impact my training, but I'm not going to stress over it.  Just going to get back on the treadmill tomorrow!

Miles: 3
Time: 32 minutes

Miles this Week: 14
Miles this Month: 31

  2. Hi Nicki! It's Rachel (Miller), from Reagan newspaper. I have been following your blog for awhile (that's not too creepy, right?), and I just wanted to offer you some encouragement for Disney!
A good friend of mine here in New Jersey just ran her second marathon, but her first was the 2010 Disney Marathon. She had an awesome time, and definitely rocked the mouse ears for 26.2 miles! She blogged about it here, in case you want to read about her experience: http://physikerinknits.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
I hope you have a great time, and I hope the Florida weather stays warm for you. All best!
