Today I ran 5 miles of hills!!!! :) I actually walked a lot, but I tried to only let myself walk the flat parts. I'm okay with walking, because even with my walking I'm averaging close to a 12 minute pace, and I know that to get through the Blue Ridge Half I'll end up walking quite a bit. Obviously my goal is to run as much as possible, but I'm not going to beat myself up for walking.
I'm getting really excited for the Blue Ridge Half even though it's going to take everything I have to make it across the finish line. Mathis is signed up for the race now too, and he's really helping motivate me to train well.
The weather here is gorgeous today! Sunny, breezy, low 70s... ahhh, I love running in the Spring! :)
