Back from Paradise

Earlier this afternoon Mathis and I got home from spending a week on Maui with my family.  It was such a wonderful week, but it went by way too quick!  I'll be recapping the week over here if you're interested about our trip.  I did run once with my Dad and walked another morning with my Mom.  I'm definitely excited to get running again this week here at home, but first I've got to get back on East Coast time. :)

It was hard to run on vacation, and I didn't log all the miles I thought, but I'm glad I did my long run.  Legs are feeling good... here's to the next week!

Ready to Leave the Heat...

I've managed to squeeze in a few more runs this past week.  Friday I ran four miles on my own, and yesterday I ran 3 miles with my dad.  It was so great running with my dad.  We talked about all kinds of things... one of them being that I should probably buy new shoes sooner than later!  Today's our last day in Texas so I'm off to enjoy one last day of guiltless eating!

Texas HEAT

Just a quick update... I'm not blogging on vacation, but I've managed to sneak in a few runs.  I did three miles on my own last week and five yesterday with Mathis.  I've also walked a bit too!  For the most part the heat is keeping me inside!!!
